The short version: online tools, AI assistants and automated messages give general guidance only. Your price is final only after a technician inspects your door and you approve it. Springs are dangerous, so never repair them yourself. Disputes go to individual arbitration in Travis County, Texas.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use CallSpringz.com, call, text, chat or email Springz Garage Door Repair ("Springz"), use our online tools, or book or receive service from us. By doing any of these you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. A signed work order or invoice for a specific job also applies; if it conflicts with these terms, the work order controls for that job.
2. Website content is general information
Service guides, product pages, FAQs, specifications and research summaries are for general education only. They are not professional advice for your specific door. Product information comes from manufacturers and public sources and may change or contain errors. Springz is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers named on this site unless we say so; brand names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify products we service.
3. AI assistants, chat and automated messages
We may use AI voice assistants, AI chat, and automated texts, emails and calls to answer questions, collect details and schedule service. By using them you agree that:
- You may be communicating with automated software rather than a person. You can ask for a human at any time.
- AI and automated answers can be incomplete or wrong. They are general information only and are not a quote, diagnosis, safety inspection, warranty decision or guaranteed arrival time.
- Nothing an AI or automated system says creates a binding contract, price, discount or promise. Only a written estimate or work order from Springz is binding.
- Never rely on an automated reply for a safety decision. If a door is broken, off its track or a spring has snapped, keep everyone clear and call (737) 313-5700.
- Calls and chats may be recorded and transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You will not use our tools to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, or try to break, overload, copy or misuse them.
4. Cost calculator, remote finder and estimates
The cost calculator, remote and keypad finder, and any phone, text or online estimate give ballpark ranges and suggestions only, based on what you tell us. Final pricing is set only after a technician inspects your door, because hidden damage, door weight, parts availability and other conditions change the work needed. Compatibility suggestions should be confirmed against your opener's label or manual.
5. Text message program
By giving us your number you agree to receive service-related calls and texts, including automated ones, as described in the Privacy Policy. Marketing texts are sent only with separate consent, which is not required to buy anything. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Booking, arrival times and cancellations
- "Same-day" and "24/7" mean we try to respond quickly. They are not guarantees. Arrival windows are estimates and can change due to traffic, weather, emergencies, parts or safety.
- An adult 18 or older must be present, and you must have the right to authorize work at the property.
- Please clear a safe path to the door and keep children, pets and vehicles away from the work area.
- Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. A trip or diagnostic fee may apply if a technician arrives and cannot access the door or work is declined after diagnosis; we will tell you about any fee before the visit.
7. Prices, coupons and payment
- You approve the price before work begins. If we find more problems, we will explain them and get your approval before doing extra work.
- Coupons and specials must be mentioned when booking, cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, apply to qualifying work only, and can change or end at any time.
- Payment is due when work is complete unless agreed in writing. Unpaid balances may incur lawful collection costs.
- Special-order doors, openers and parts may require a deposit and may not be refundable once ordered.
8. Safety and existing conditions
Garage door springs, cables and drums are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury or death. Do not attempt to adjust, remove or release them yourself, and do not operate a door that appears broken.
- We are not responsible for injury or damage from DIY repairs, work by others, or using a door after we advised you not to.
- Older doors and openers may have hidden wear, rot, rust, bad framing or out-of-date safety features. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, and we may decline work we believe is unsafe.
- Openers must have working safety sensors. We may recommend or refuse to bypass safety features.
- Small cosmetic marks to paint, drywall or trim around the door can happen during normal work and are not covered unless caused by negligence.
9. Warranty
Request the written warranty terms for the specific repair or installation before approving work. These pages do not promise a universal warranty duration. Any workmanship coverage is governed by your written service agreement; manufacturer coverage is governed by the exact product’s warranty documents.
Confirm covered parts and labor, duration, exclusions, maintenance requirements, who handles the claim and any registration requirement. Contact Springz about the work we performed and the manufacturer about its product coverage. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to exclude.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Springz and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost time, lost income, or loss of use of your garage or vehicle. Our total liability for any claim connected with our website, communications, tools or service is limited to the amount you paid Springz for the specific job the claim relates to, or $100 if no job was purchased. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information and to cover Springz for claims, losses and costs caused by false information you provide, your misuse of our website or tools, or your breaking these terms.
12. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
Please call us first; most problems can be solved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, you and Springz agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Rules, held in Travis County, Texas or by video. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.
You and Springz each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class, collective or representative action. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing help@callspringz.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the class-action waiver still applies to the fullest extent allowed.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, including the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court case allowed under these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
14. Website use and ownership
Website text, photos, graphics, the Springz name and kangaroo mascot belong to Springz or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal use but may not copy, scrape, resell or use them to train AI systems without written permission. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time and do not guarantee it will be error-free or always available.
15. Other terms
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. We may update these terms by posting a new version here; the date at the top shows when. Questions: help@callspringz.com or (737) 313-5700.
